My summer essentials

Today I wanted to share my summer must have super essentials. These are so important for me and I need to have them during summer at all times. They help me stay healthy and beautiful, which is key for me! Let’s just get started:


•The British Rose Toner by The Body Shop

This stuff is amazing! It works for all skin types and it was specially created for sensitive skin. Before I go to the gym in the mornings, I wash my face only with cold water and then I apply this to refresh my skin. In Spain it is super hot during summer time so my face gets so oily and sweaty! This toner helps me keep it clean and fresh.

•Seaweed Gel Face-wash by The Body Shop.

I swear by this gel. Im on my fifth bottle right now, and I can’t get enough. It is amazing for combination skin and leaves my face feeling super clean. I use it twice a day: in the morning after the gym when I’m getting ready for the day and at night time before going to bed. I always apply the Rose toner afterwards.

•Mineral Powder by Mac

this summer, makeup is cancelled! But when I’m going to have a photo shoot or it’s a special occasion, this bad boy helps keep my face shine free. If feels very light and helps my makeup stay longer.

•Skin Defence by The Body Shop.

This lotion is amazing for summer and it’s got SPF 50. In Madrid during summer time the weather can get to 35-40 Celsius degrees so you NEED a good SPF. It will help you avoid premature ageing and discolouration.


•Garnier Ultimate Blends Avocado hair mask:

during summer time I wash my hair more often: the weather is good so it doesn’t take that long to dry. This helps keep my hair nourished and fresh.

•Olive Oil:

Now that I have more time, I try to make hair treatments very often, at least twice or three times a week. I personally love olive oil. I apply a generous amount in my hair and leave it for like 3-4 hours. It keeps my hair moisturised and healthy.

• Jamaican Black Castor Oil Styling lotion.

I only need to use a little bit of this product to keep my curls super defined and bouncy. This is my favourite line from Shea Moisture and I totally recommend it!

•”Miracle Gel” nail polish by Sally Hensen

Since I’m going to be travelling a lot in the next weeks,I decided not to get acrylic nails done. They are difficult to maintain and it’s risky during vacation (let’s be honest, if you break a nail, it won’t look cute in pictures, duhhhh). So I decided to buy this set and do my own gel nails! These nail polishes are super long lasting (they last about a week without chipping off). They are a bit pricey, each bottle is like £10 but it’s totally worth it!


•Betroot and Orange smoothie:

This is one of my favourite smoothies ever! It is rich in iron and will give you so much energy. I drink it every morning before going to the gym and it helps me a lot!! All you need to do is blend cooked beetroot + oranges + carrot (optional). Leave it in the fridge for a bit and it’s ready to serve!

•Gym Shark leggings:

I’m in love with this brand. I must say I’m not a big fan of all the styles but some of them are awesome. These leggings hold my curves perfectly and I can do exercises safely. They can be a little bit pricey but these leggings are definitely an investment.


stay hydrated!! I try to carry a water bottle with me at all times, so it keeps me hydrated.
